Art School Group Journal¶
⚠️ The "Art Journals" module must be enabled in advance.
💡 Make sure that departments, study levels, subjects, sections, control forms, and user types for the art school have already been configured on the platform.
Brief Overview¶
The "Group Journal" section is designed for maintaining art school group journals. In this section, you can create journals for group classes, view their structure, manage journal settings, and work with academic modules.
The Group Journal is used to organize the educational process by areas of art education and combines information about the section, teacher, subject, study levels, and department.
What is displayed in the table of group journals¶
For each created group journal, the following information is available:
- Section — the name of the group;
- Teacher — the responsible teacher;
- Subject — the academic discipline;
- Study levels — the level of student training;
- Departments — the area of art education.
Creating a New Art School Group Journal¶
- Go to "Art Journals" → "Group" in the menu.
- Click the "Add" button in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Fill in the required fields in the journal creation form:
- section
- teacher
- subject
- study level
- department
- number of years - Click "Submit".
Art School Group Journal Modules¶
Modules are separate academic blocks (disciplines, courses, or components of an educational program) taught to a group of students and used for separate tracking of classes and learning outcomes.
In the journal, a module usually includes:
- caption;
- q-ty of study hours;
- control form;
- study program;
- topics;
- module objectives;
- results;
Creating a New Module in the Art School Group Journal¶
- Go to "Art Journals" → "Group" in the menu.
- Click the context menu to the right of the required group journal in the list and select "Modules".
- The "Modules" page will open. Click the "Add" button in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Fill in the required fields in the form.
- Click "Submit".
- To edit/remove a specific module, select the required module from the list, click the context menu button on the right, and choose the required action.
Art School Group Journal Module Topics¶
Module topics in an art school are a list of academic topics or content units studied within a specific module (subject or academic block) during a defined period. In the journal, module topics are usually used for class planning, recording completed classes, and displaying learning progress.
Creating a New Module Topic in the Art School Group Journal¶
- Go to "Art Journals" → "Group" in the menu.
- Click the context menu to the right of the required group journal in the list and select "Modules".
- Select the required module, click the context menu button to the right, and select "Topics".
- The "Topics" page will open. Click the "Add" button in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Fill in the required fields in the form:
- sequence
- topic
- control forms - Click "Submit".
- To edit/remove a specific topic, select the required topic from the list, click the context menu button on the right, and choose the required action.
Actions with a Group Journal¶
A context menu is available on the right for each group journal. Through this menu, you can perform the following actions:
- Journal - open the section or group journal directly and start working;
- View — view general information about the group journal;
- Edit — change the journal parameters;
- Remove — delete the journal from the list.
How to Start Working in the Art School Group Journal¶
- Go to "Art Journals" → "Group" in the menu.
- Click the context menu to the right of the required group journal in the list and select "Journal".
- A separate browser page with the selected group journal will open.
